Jonathan Schmidt
Jonathan is an Analyst at The Future Society, specializing in the implementation of the EU AI Act, with a particular focus on general-purpose AI. Through his past research, he gained insights into market concentration in the cloud computing sector and provided various analyses of the EU AI Act.
Prior to joining The Future Society, Jonathan worked as an AI Policy Fellow at the Center for Democracy & Technology Europe Office. He holds an MSc in Cognitive and Decision Science from University College London (UCL) and a BA in Philosophy and Economics from the University of Bayreuth.
