Rasim Alam has interned as an AI Policy Researcher supporting CAIAC, a sense-making platform to help policy-makers make informed decisions in a rapidly changing information space regarding Covid-19. Rasim is interested in research in the nexus of data science, digital government, and public policy, and is passionate about AI and the future of work.

Before joining The Future Society, Rasim worked on migration research, using crowd-sourced data and machine learning to study the Partition of British India and the following migration of refugees in South Asia. Rasim has also worked in political risk analysis, focusing on the political economy of Bangladesh and India.

Rasim is pursuing a Masters in Public Policy at Harvard Kennedy School and has a B.A. from Tufts University where he majored in International Relations and Economics.
