Melina Sánchez Montañés

Melina Sánchez Montañés is the chair and co-founder of European Horizons, the first student-led policy incubator in the world whose mission is to give young people a voice in shaping the future of Europe and of transatlantic relations. She is currently pursuing an MPA/MBA at Harvard Kennedy School and Tuck School of Business. Her interests lay in the intersection of alternative finance, public policy, and emerging technologies. Before graduate school, Melina worked with NYC-based fintech startup Novus Partners helping investors leverage quantitative analyses for making better portfolio and risk management decisions. Prior to joining the private sector, Melina worked in the diplomatic service for the Spanish government and the European External Action Service in Brussels, Caracas, Madrid and Lima, and most recently as a policy consultant on civic tech for the Regional Council of Occitanie in Toulouse, France. She graduated from Yale University in 2015.
