Gustavo Caicedo is a creative developer, writer and director for the Arts & Entertainment Industry with a background as a social historian and field researcher.

His current focus of work is on the improvement of safeguarding measures for Intangible Cultural Heritage as Executive Director of the Encyclopedia of Intangible Cultural Heritage in Mexico. He is also interested in the creation of links between indigenous cultures and the future of technology as well as the promotion of the ethical use of AI and its legal regulation.

He was elected representative of Organizations Accredited to UNESCO by the Latin America and the Caribbean Region and is Head of the Cluster for Science, Culture, and Education for the Future (CICEF) in Guanajuato, México. He is also Creator and CEO of TEOAMOXTLI (Sacred Book) theme park (In development).
