Abdijabar Yussuf Mohamed is an upcoming researcher at the nexus of emerging technologies (specifically AI and Cybersecurity), digital freedom & privacy, and policy formulation in fledgling Sub-Saharan African democracies. He holds a Master of Management Science in Global Affairs from the prestigious Schwarzman Scholars Program at Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. At Schwarzman College, he was a Masa Son Fellow. Prior to the Schwarzman Scholars Program, he attended Vermont’s Middlebury College where he obtained a B.A in Computer Science. He is a Kathryn Davis Fellow for Peace and a polyglot (who speaks English, Kiswahili, Arabic, Somali and moderate speaker of Amharic and Mandarin Chinese). Furthermore, he is an aspiring Ethical Hacker who thinks that Kali Linux is one of the best things that happened to humanity.
