IRCAI UNESCO AI Award 2021 – Adriana Bora for Project AIMS

In 2021, the International Research Centre on Artificial Intelligence (IRCAI) under the auspices of UNESCO launched the AI Award for individuals who have dedicated their work to solving problems related to the SDGs by means of the application of Artificial Intelligence. This year’s winner is Adriana-Eufrosina Bora, PhD Candidate at the Centre for Data Science, School of Mathematical Sciences at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) & The Future Society Affiliate, for her work in Project AIMS (Artificial Intelligence against Modern Slavery) which she led at The Future Society in 2020-2021.
