Breakfast Roundtable on AI and the Rule of Law

On November 19th, over 50 legal scholars and practitioners joined The Future Society in New York City to discuss AI and the from a US-EU perspective, with Principal Advisor on Justice Policy to the European Commission Mr. Paul Nemitz and co-hosted with IEEE, H5 and the Center on Civil Justice.

Our Law and Society Initiative organized this breakfast to continue the discussions on how AI impacts the Rule of Law, following our Athens AI Roundtable 2019 in September. Discussions covered the need for sound evidence and policy foundation when implementing AI in legal systems in the US and the EU.
