At Sciences Po Paris School of International Affairs (PSIA), The Future Society is teaching Governing the Rise of AI for its third year. This graduate level course equips students to understand and analyze key public policy, political, social, and economic issues concerning the rise of AI and its impacts. Topics include the geopolitics of AI, global governance of AI, AI for UN Sustainable Development Goals, and more. The course also analyses key incentives and disincentives driving nation states to cooperate in governing AI. It introduces students to the range of policy, regulatory, and other governance tools that leading international, national and local organizations and governments are currently using for AI development and its impacts.
